Cough etiquette
Cough etiquette is part of Standard
Precautions, which is included in the
Centers for Disease Control and
Prevention (CDC) guidelines.
These are good practices that apply to
everybody and should be followed at all
times to help prevent the spread of
germs especially those that cause colds,
the flu, etc.
When sneezing or coughing, cover
your nose and mouth with a tissue.
Throw used tissues into a trash
receptacle.
