Labor Pool Management
In the event of a hurricane, if you plan to be at the hospital
during the storm, please bring personal articles (for example,
clothing, personal care items, toothbrush, food, sleeping bag).
• Your job function and supervisor may be different than
during regular operations.
• Review the Disaster Plan for your department so you know
your role and reporting structure.
• On-duty personnel should report to their assigned area
immediately.
• Off-duty personnel should not report to work unless
instructed to do so by their supervisor.
• Personnel not scheduled to work but are available should
report to the labor pool for assignment if contacted to
assist with the disaster.
