National Quality Measures (NQM) reported to CMS CY2020

If you work in a hospital, it is important that you review these calendar year
(CY) 2020 inpatient quality measures. These evidence-based initiatives focus
on timeliness and effectiveness of care based on select patient conditions.
Successful performance depends on how well staff assess patients, follow
through with orders, and/or notify medical providers if there are missing care
interventions – followed by appropriate and timely documentation.

Elective Delivery
PC-01: Percent of mothers whose deliveries were
scheduled too early (1-2 weeks early), when
scheduled delivery was not medically necessary
