National Quality Measures (NQM) reported to CMS CY2020

If you work in a hospital, it is vital that you are aware of the following CY2020
outpatient quality measures and use the specific interventions, checklists,
orders, and/or protocols for each patient condition – followed by appropriate
and timely documentation.

Heart Attack Care
OP-2: Fibrinolytic therapy received within 30 minutes of ED arrival
OP-3: Median time to transfer to another facility for acute coronary intervention

Emergency Department (ED) Throughput
OP-18: Median time from ED arrival to ED departure for discharged ED patients
OP-22: Percentage of patients who left the ED before being seen
OP-23: Percentage of patients who came to ED with stroke symptoms who received
Head CT or MRI scan results within 45 minutes of ED arrival

Colonoscopy Follow-up
OP-29: Appropriate follow-up interval for normal colonoscopy in average risk patients
