Employees may implement the violent person code
                                       procedure (Code Green) when a patient, visitor, or employee
                                       demonstrates aggressive behavior and he/she or another
                                       person is in immediate danger of serious bodily harm.

                                       Baptist Health has zero tolerance for violent or threatening
                                       conduct in the workplace.
                                       What should you do if you encounter a confrontation at
                                       your entity?
                                       At the hospitals and MCI, dial the emergency line #7777 to
                                       initiate a code and notify the operator, giving the exact
                                       location. The operator will call Security. The security officer,
                                       supervisor, or a designee will physically respond to all violent
                                       situations.
                                       The security officer has the option to use an appropriate
                                       amount of force against an aggressor when it appears that
                                       someone may become seriously injured.
                                       At a nonhospital site, call 9-911 or 911, then the Security
                                       Command Center at 786-594-6911.
