Sexual Misconduct
Definition: Acts of a sexual nature committed
for the sexual gratification of anyone upon or in
the presence of a vulnerable adult without the
vulnerable adult’s informed consent, or a minor.
The CEO and the Risk Manager are notified
immediately of any allegations of sexual
misconduct.
The Risk Manager Must:
• Investigate every allegation.
• Notify the family or guardian of the
vulnerable adult or minor.
• Advise patient that they can notify the police.
• Notify police and Department of Health when
appropriate.
