The Way We Communicate Creates an Impression
It is not only what you say that is important but the ultimate message communicated
through body language that makes words meaningful. When you respond with the right
words at the right moment, you help build a trusting relationship.
Positive responses for everyday situations
When you see a visitor at any location:
May I take you to where you are going?
When in an elevator with visitors, step
aside, and let them enter or exit first.
Be pleasant, smile, say hello.
Avoid negative conversations, personal
conversations, or making comments about
your job or patients, such as, "this has been
a difficult day."
