False Claims Act


        The Federal False Claims Act prohibits the
        knowing submission of fraudulent claims to
        federal programs, including Medicare.
        The State of Florida has enacted a similar law.

        Baptist Health has established the Corporate
        Compliance Program to help prevent and
        detect violations of these laws.
        Employees, vendors, and contractors are
        encouraged to report suspected improper
        conduct.
        Reporting False Claims
        To report a suspected violation of any of the
        guidelines set forth in our Code of Ethics,
        including suspected false claims, you may speak
        to:
        •  Any member of management
        •  The Audit and Compliance Department
        •  The Legal Department
        •  The Human Resource Department
        •  A Compliance Liaison

        MyComplianceReport.com and enter the access ID BHS.
        Anyone who makes a report in good faith is protected from retaliation for making that report.
