Vendor Sponsored Travel
A vendor may not pay for travel related
expenses for employees. If it is important
for an employee to travel, and your
manager agrees and your department
budget allows, Baptist Health will pay for
travel expenses.
When traveling, an employee may accept
entertainment from a vendor, as long as
the entertainment does not exceed $150
per occurrence and $300 annually from a
single vendor.
A professional organization is different from a vendor. Many of our employees
are members of professional organizations. For example, the Health Care Compliance
Association is the professional organization for compliance professionals.
A professional organization may pay your travel expenses to participate in a meeting.
